Casual sailing (or cruising or messing about in a boat) in beautiful surroundings is therapeutic. One of the unique features of Aylesbury Sailing Club is that you can come down and use the club house and sail any time you like during daylight hours, not just when club organised events are taking place. The club makes a lovely spot for a family picnic.
Although the engines for the safety boats are not available for use outside organised club activities, the orange safety boat can be used with oars by any member at any time. The boat is padlocked to the jetty with the same code for the padlock as for the gate and clubhouse locks. Oars for the boat can be located in the hall of the clubhouse, to the right of the entrance door.
