This Sunday the 14th April, and the 21st April, Andrzej and Mac will be holding a presentation to remind old hands and instruct new joiners the essentials of doing a Race Duty.
There can be a few worries about ‘getting it wrong’ if you are new to the game. Don’t worry. New joiners will be teamed up with an old hand to hold yours so to speak.
If you have any misgivings or doubts, please come down.
We will start at 12:00 and the speechifying will take about 30 mins after which we will invite you to watch a crack team start the 12:40 race.
It would be best if you could plan to watch the 12:40 race which will last about 50 mins then you will be able to see the keeping of records during the race and the finishing of the race.
While we are talking about Race Officer duties, please do acquaint yourselves with Duty Man our Web based program for applying for a Race Officer slot, for swapping duties and bidding for ground maintenance slots.
